This was ideally located on Royal street. Near enough to both Bourbon and Canal streets, but we didnt experience any disruptive noise from outside. It's near a lot of restaurants and cafes and right across the hotel is the Unique Grocery (yes, that's its name) where its convenient to buy stuff you might need. Check in was a breeze, and the helpful staff handed us a copy of the nearby restaurants and cafes including their opening and closing schedules, so that was really helpful. There were several facilities in the hotel like a pool, gym, etc. We weren't able to utilize them but it's nice that they're available. Our room was good for 4 and we had a very nice view of the Mississippi river. Sunrise was amazing from our room. Beds were nice and comfortable, although a bit small for 2 adults (they were double beds I think). Bathroom essentials were available and complete. There's an ice vending machine per floor. Elevators were fast. Staff was wonderful overall. If I were to go back to NOLA, I would stay here again.

All aspects of our stay were pleasant. The hotel is located in the heart of the French Quarter, with easy access to the craziness of Bourbon Street and the more local scene of Frenchman Street and the Marigny District. There is in/out parking onsite at a reasonable price (for NOLA), and the rooms/beds are as comfortable as one could want. That being said, the hotel's most valuable asset is by far it's incredible staff. From the moment we pulled in, when Herb greeted us and and took our car for safekeeping, we were treated with respect and genuine friendliness. We don't remember everyone's name, but Herb, Greg K, Jeannie and Deniera were especially helpful, as was the (unfortunately anonymous) baggage claim attendant and the doorman, who dashed across the street to procure change for me. Everyone was great, and they all made us feel that we had truly experienced the charm that is the best of New Orleans.

The hotel was in a perfect location for what we wanted to do, which was visit the WWII Museum and other museums, walk around the Vieux Carre to gawk at the beautiful architecture, browse antique stores, and shop. It was central to all of those places/activities. There are lots of restaurants and shops near the hotel, and it isn’t a far walk to the French Market area. As a middle-aged woman, I felt safe walking around by myself even at night. The hotel has a great security staff, which gave our family extra peace of mind. It also has a nice indoor pool on the 10th floor, which made my daughter very happy. The staff are friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay there again.

The hotel has a great location at Canal & Royal streets, excellent for all the Uptown parades during Mardi Gras. Upon checkin, we were upgraded to a king room which was far more spacious than the standard room. There’s excellent security at the hotel entrance which is important given the busy location in the middle of it all! The staff was very friendly and accommodating. There was housekeeping each day, which seems to be rare in these post-pandemic days. The room was very clean at checkin with plenty of towels and toiletries.

It was a 2min walking distance to bourbon st, canal street was the same with a lot of stores and restaurants, subway was next door to the motel, gift shop, royal burrito, and a store that sell anything like snacks, cases of water, beer, and on top of that it had a liquor store on the inside of it all them was right across the street from this motel
